MANOSAURUS RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM “NEW ROW DIE VERGE ANT”

Chicago Alt Rock Act Delivers First Full-Length Record Alongside Ambitious New Music Video

CHICAGO, IL — Manosaurus, the Chicago alternative rock project built around two best friends who perform in full dinosaur masks, have released their debut album New Row Die Verge Ant. The album is out now on all streaming platforms.

The concept is simple: Manosaurus are dinosaurs from outer space who crashed into Earth on an asteroid in late 2024 and haven’t been able to stop noticing how strange humans are. They have agreed, collectively, that paper has value. They pretend to know things they have no idea about. Manosaurus find all of this fascinating and have written an album about it.

The album’s title is exactly what it looks like — the word “neurodivergent” spelled out phonetically, the way a couple of ADHD dinosaurs might. You see, both members discovered during the making of this record that they have ADHD, and the album quietly owns it. Loud, riffy, restless, and occasionally ridiculous: the music sounds like the diagnosis feels.

Sonically, the album lives in the ’90s alternative tradition — Queens of the Stone Age riff logic, Twenty One Pilots structural instincts, and a garage-rock looseness held together by a genuinely tight, produced record. The band spent fourteen months releasing singles every six to eight weeks, each accompanied by a full-length music video, building toward this moment. For fans of Viagra Boys, Turnstile, and anyone who has watched I Think You Should Leave twice in one sitting or Bo Burnham’s “Inside” over and over again during Covid.

“We don’t really fit anywhere, and we’ve stopped trying to. We’re dinosaurs. We crashed here. We’re just telling you what we see. Right now I see pizza. Gotta go.”

New Row Die Verge Ant is available now on all streaming platforms.
